Monday Market

Christchurch Chamber of Trade and Commerce is feeling very positive about the new Monday market in the High Street.

 

President Tim Lloyd said: "The atmosphere on Monday was very positive, and it was great to see so many people in the town. We have been working through the Town Centre Forum for over a year now to move the market into the High Street and are pleased with the results so far.

 

Obviously as time goes on, we hope to see even more stalls offering a wider range of quality goods, but these things do take time. Success breeds success, and as other market traders become aware of the numbers that we are attracting into the town we expect to see ever-growing interest among traders and customers alike. We all want a market that is vibrant and worthy of our very special town."
