At most times of the year, parking space is available in the town centre - if you know where to go! The map below shows the centre with the High Street in the middle. The blue signs indicate the positions of parking areas convenient for shopping and leisure activities - hovering on a sign will give details of the car park.
There are no stay limitations in the Shoppers car parks, except for By-pass which has designated long-stay spaces. Leisure Centre, Bargates and Willow Way have reduced rates for longer stays: only Saxon Square has a 30 minute short-stay rate. There are Disabled bays in most car parks and some on-street in the High Street. On-street parking is limited but free. Car parking is free in some car parks from 7pm to 8am - but not all.
